Happy Valentines Day!

I know many of you are either spending this hallmark holiday with your special someone, or wishing you had a special someone to celebrate with, if you are the latter, I am here to tell you that Valentine's Day is not just about celebrating romantic love, but love all around. I've been fortunate to have 2 very special people to spend Valentine's day with and who I am always grateful to have in my life...two of my very best friends, Kenny and Michelle. The three of us have spent the past 3 Valentine's day together. Since I am not in San Francisco this year to celebrate this day with them, they sent me a card and had flowers delivered to my work yesterday just to let me know that they were thinking of me. Honestly, they didn't even have to send me a thing, because I already know that they were thinking of me and I them. Kenny and Michelle, along with my other best friend Sherri and my sister Cindy, have been my rock and at times, even savior. I talk to all of them almost daily, sometimes even a few times a day. The love that I feel for my family and friends is something that is always there and I personally don't need one day to remind me to be good to those I love. But it is nice to have this day as an excuse to do something nice for someone and vice versa. Already I've had several other friends call me just to let me know they were thinking of me and I'm about to make a few phone calls myself. Anyways, I may be alone right now, but I am never lonely, because my heart is full from all of the love that I feel from everyone who is in my life. I hope that your heart is full too.
